Nutty Mocha Mate is a rich, indulgent blend of roasted mate with chocolate and hazelnut. This sweet, nutty infusion is a great alternative to coffee. Mate is an herbal infusion, but unlike most herbal teas, it does contain caffeine.
Cups Per Package
This luxury loose leaf tea is carefully blended and packaged by hand in a reusable tin or a resealable kraft bag. Our 3.5 oz. tin or kraft bag makes approximately 40 cups of tea. Our 7 oz. kraft bag makes approximately 80 cups.

How To Brew Nutty Mocha Mate
Use 1 level teaspoon per 6 oz. water. Heat water until steaming briskly (not boiling). Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
We recommend using a teapot, tea infuser, or tea filter. These brewing methods give the tea leaves enough room to expand as the tea steeps, resulting in a more flavorful cup.
When I had to stop drinking coffee, my coworker suggested that I try mate. I don't like tea very much because it just seems weak compared to coffee. I was looking for something that has some of the same flavor notes as coffee and can stand up to a little milk being added, too. This does the trick. I love the nutty and chocolatey flavor, and I'm now able to get a little caffeine with a drink I actually enjoy consuming.

The best tea around!
I came across this tea while trying to switch from my morning coffee routine to a lower caffeine and lower acidity alternative. The caffeine in the tea is perfect - no jitters, insomnia. It is light and not acidic at all. The flavor is very balanced, light and smooth. I drink this without any milk (just as I had with my coffee in the past). I thought breaking my coffee addiction would be near impossible but turned out to be very easy after discovering this tea! The delivery was very timely and packaging is really nice.

Delicious and Refreshing
This tea is beyond delicious! My favorite way to enjoy it is to add sugar and cream, then pour over ice. It makes the best iced drink to enjoy on a hot day - or any day really
